Matthias Schuster is currently the Team Lead Product Design at GE Healthcare, where they lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the product specification of medical products within Ultrasound IT. Previously, Matthias gained extensive experience in engineering roles at Siemens, working on projects in biometrics and natural language understanding. Matthias also served as the Head of R&D Dialog at SVOX Deutschland GmbH, where they managed the development of a speech dialog engine for embedded platforms. Matthias holds a Diplom in Electrical Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, obtained in 2000.
