Martin Benson is currently the Head of Machine Learning at GE HealthCare, where they apply artificial intelligence to ultrasound imaging to enhance clinical practices. With a robust background in the Financial Services sector, Martin previously held roles as Risk Manager at A&L/Santander, Manager of Business Analysis at Capital One, and Head of AI Consulting at Jaywing. They possess significant expertise in AI, big data, and optimization, and have developed several algorithms, including a method for interpretable neural networks, which is currently patent pending. Martin earned a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 1998 to 2005.
