Marco Aimi is currently the Director of Research Operations at GE Vernova, a position held since 2023. Previously, Marco worked at GE in various roles, including Senior Engineer and Innovation Leader in Microsystems, and Technology Manager, from 2014 to 2017. Earlier, they served as a Materials Engineer at General Electric from 2005 to 2014. Marco holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science from UC Santa Barbara.
