Kelly Irons is a Lead Engineer in Thermal Systems Design at GE Aerospace, where they conduct heat transfer analysis for commercial jet engines. They have graduated from the Edison Engineering Development Program at GE Aerospace and are currently pursuing a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Previously, Kelly worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, focusing on rocket propellant chemistry, and served as President of the Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics chapter at Cornell, promoting support for women in aerospace. Their experience also includes hands-on involvement in amateur rocketry and simulations involving thermal systems and component design.
