Ruben Strijk has extensive experience in engineering across various sectors, with a significant focus on data center design and development. Beginning with internships at KIEM and ECN, where innovative concepts for environmental packaging and fuel cell systems were explored, Ruben advanced to academia as a PhD researcher and assistant professor at Delft University of Technology, contributing to thermal design tools and micro direct methanol fuel cells. A lead engineer at Imtech Building Services followed by a master engineer role at Huawei Technologies Netherlands B.V., priorities included designing data centers. Currently serving as a principal technologist at DayOne, responsibilities involve providing technical guidance and fostering continuous development. Ruben holds a doctoral degree in Thermal Design of Electronics and a master's degree in Engineering Design from Delft University of Technology.
