The Gates Chili Central School District (GCCSD) serves most of the Town of Gates and a large portion of the Town of Chili. Gates Chili has six schools: four elementary (UPK-5); one middle school (6-8); and one high school (9-12) and covers a 26-square-mile area in a community situated between Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes. As a diverse community next to the City of Rochester, the state’s third-largest city, Gates Chili offers easy access to a variety of sporting events, cultural events, and several colleges and universities.

Communications and Engagement

The Special Education Team at Gates Chili Central School District is dedicated to supporting and meeting the unique learning needs of students with disabilities. Comprising multiple Special Education Teachers and the Coordinator of the Committee on Special Education, the team collaborates to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), provide tailored instructional strategies, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The goal is to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

The Library Media Specialist supports students' research skills and fosters a love for reading and information literacy. Together, they work to create a comprehensive and enriching learning environment for all students.
