Kai Gaukel began their work experience in 2009 as a Praktikant at BMW Group. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at Robert Bosch GmbH as a Bachelor Thesis researcher. In 2012, they joined IAV GmbH as a Werkstudent until 2013. Kai then worked at Technische Universität München as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter from 2015 to 2020. Currently, they are employed at Gamma Technologies, LLC as an Application Engineer in Engine Simulation since November 2020.
Kai Gaukel obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Fahrzeugtechnik from Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences from 2007 to 2011. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Maschinenbau from Technical University of Munich from 2011 to 2014.
