Gansheng Ou has a variety of work experience in engineering roles. Gansheng is currently working as a Principal Diagnostic Engineer at Oracle since October 2021. In January 2021, they founded DightSpring. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Summit Technical (Contract - Massa) starting in December 2018. Before that, they were a Principal Embedded Software Engineer at BlackTreeTech (Contract - Hyster-Yale) starting in February 2018 and at NESC (Contract- MKS Instrument) starting in January 2017. Gansheng also worked as an Electrical Engineer at GameChangeSolar starting in December 2015 and as a Senior Project Engineer at Cyient (Contract - Caterpillar) starting in March 2015. In addition, Gansheng Ou has experience as an Electrical Engineer III at Crown Equipment Corporation starting in March 2015, as a Systems electrical engineer at Advanced Technology Innovation Corporation (Contract - Navistar International Corp) starting in September 2014, and as an Engine Test Engineer at RadGov (Contract - GE Transportation) starting in June 2014.

Gansheng Ou has a diverse education history. Gansheng obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Tippie School of Management at the University of Iowa between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, Gansheng pursued a master degree program in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, specifically at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, from 2006 to 2007. Gansheng also holds a Master's degree in Circuit and System from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, which was acquired from 2001 to 2004.The earliest known educational attainment for Gansheng is a Bachelor's degree in Power System and Automation, obtained from the Department of Electrical Engineering at South China University of Technology.
