Dr. Nick Primmer currently serves as the Policy Lead at Future Biogas Ltd, where responsibilities include leading Task Force 3 of the BIP to explore rotational and sequential crops and engaging with government and associations to promote supportive policy for new BECCS plants. Prior to this role, Dr. Primmer held various positions at the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA), where significant contributions included leading several key reports on biogas and engaging with government departments to influence policies on renewable energy and climate. Dr. Primmer has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Reading and as a Research Executive at Red Brick Research. Dr. Primmer obtained a PhD in Geography from the University of Nottingham and a B.Sc. in Geography from the University of Southampton.
