Jenny Simpson, CPA, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Corporate Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting at Fundrise, a position held since 2024. Previously, they held various roles including Controller at NUBURU® Inc. and Lead Financial Accountant at Whiting Petroleum Corporation, where they were the lead preparer of external SEC reporting. Jenny's experience also includes positions such as Senior Technical Accountant at SM Energy Company and an Audit role at EKS&H LLLP. They earned their MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Political Science, and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame, graduating magna cum laude.
