Nicole Maturana Ramírez is a marine biologist with over 12 years of experience in the administration, management, and sustainable use of fisheries resources. They have actively participated in legislative project development and collaborated closely with artisanal fishing communities to promote marine conservation and sustainability. Currently, Nicole serves as the Project Leader for the Sustainable Coves Program at Fundación Chile, aiming to accelerate the transition to sustainable fishing practices. They hold a Master's degree in Environmental Management and a diploma in Human Rights, reflecting a strong commitment to community engagement, ocean protection, and environmental education.
