Rifat Rehmani serves as the IMG Lead and Research Coordinator at Pain Care Clinics since August 2017 and functions as a Research Consultant and Medical Writer at Smart Research Support, contributing to the proofing of e-Learning courses and manuscript reviews. Additionally, Rifat holds editorial positions with PLOS ONE and Frontiers, focusing on intensive care medicine and anesthesiology. Previous roles include Consultant Emergency Medicine at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs and Patient Safety Consultant at St. Joseph Healthcare. Rifat also led the Clinical Research Section at King Abdullah International Medical Research Centre, developing research strategies and mentoring new researchers. A former Chair of the Emergency Preparedness Committee at King Abdulaziz Hospital and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Rifat has extensive experience in emergency management, quality care improvement, and epidemiological research. Rifat's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Community Health and Epidemiology from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Karachi University.
