Shad Comeaux, AICP, is the Principal and Vice President at Freese and Nichols, Inc., where they lead urban planning efforts in the Western Gulf Coast Division. They have a diverse background in urban planning, having served as an Urban Planning Project Manager and Project Planner at Freese and Nichols, as well as holding prior roles such as Urban Design Planner for the City of Fort Worth and Planning Technician for the City of McKinney. Shad’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and a Master of City and Regional Planning from The University of Texas at Arlington. Currently, Shad is also an Adjunct Professor at Texas Southern University, sharing their expertise with future planners.
