Raphael Ernst is currently the Abteilungsleitung for AI Security & Communications at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, a role they have held since 2026. Their previous positions include Group Leader of IT-Services & IT-Security and Cyber Resilience Manager at Fraunhofer FKIE, as well as a scientific staff member at several prestigious institutions, including the University of Kiel and Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Additionally, Raphael was involved in academic teaching at TH Köln from 2021 to 2022. They hold a Diplom in Informatik from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
