Andreas Werner currently serves as CTO at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence and as an Advisory Board Member for Fraunhofer Alumni e.V. Since February 2020, Andreas has also been a member of the board for Schmallenberger Kreis e.V. Previously, Andreas held the role of CTO a.i. at Movu Robotics and was the Head of Technology Center and CTO at Swisslog, overseeing global production and technology operations. From 2014 to 2021, Andreas worked as Divisional Director Innovation at BEUMER Group, leading development centers and innovation management. Andreas's earlier experience includes various positions at Fraunhofer-Institut für Materialfluss und Logistik IML, culminating as Head of Automation and Embedded Systems. Andreas holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Automation from TU Dortmund University.
