Ryo Takatsuka

Ryo Takatsuka is a Chef de Cuisine with extensive culinary experience in both Japan and Italy. Born in Toyama in 1979, Ryo embarked on a decade-long journey through various esteemed Italian restaurants, including a significant tenure as Sous Chef at the two Michelin-starred Perbellini. In 2008, Ryo returned to Japan to assume the role of Chef de Cuisine at Ristorante Yamazaki, and currently, Ryo leads as Chef de Cuisine at Ulu in the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, continuing to innovate and elevate Italian cuisine. Recognized for excellence, Ryo has received multiple accolades, including the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence from 2017 to 2021.
