Lori Kniffin is the Director of Civic Learning and Engagement and Voss Distinguished Professor of Leadership at Fort Hays State University. They have served as an Assistant Professor of Leadership at the same institution since 2020. Previously, Lori worked as an Advisor of Academic Programs at the Staley School of Leadership Studies from 2010 to 2016 and held various roles at the Institute for Community and Economic Engagement between 2016 and 2020. They earned a Master of Science in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Studies with a Concentration in Cultural Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
