Andrea B.

Lecturer at Professional Forester Apprenticeship Programme

Andrea B. is an Environmental Scientist at Natural World Fund and a GIS/Spatial Analyst in the Information and Computational Sciences Group in Aberdeen. Employed at the James Hutton Institute from 2012 to 2020, Andrea contributed to various national and local research projects funded by the Scottish Government, focusing on ecosystem services and land use impacts. Andrea holds a PhD in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Management from the University of Camerino, where research interests included ecosystem service modeling and land use strategy analysis. Currently, Andrea is also engaged as a Lecturer in the Professional Forester Apprenticeship Programme and as a Woodland Creation Officer with the Forestry Commission.
