Hamish Gow is currently the Sir Graeme Harrison Professorial Chair in Global Value Chains and Trade at Lincoln University (NZ) and serves as an Independent Ministerial Appointee on the Fonterra Milk Price Panel. Hamish has held various academic positions, including Professor of Agribusiness at Massey University and Associate Professor at Michigan State University, where they directed initiatives focusing on global food systems. Past roles include Agribusiness Design Thinker in Residence at Meat & Livestock Australia and Research Associate at K.U. Leuven. Hamish earned a PhD in Marketing and Food Distribution from Cornell University and has extensive experience in international marketing, value chain development, and food systems governance.
