MÃ¥rten Sundmark is a Swedish political scientist who has worked in various government and non-government organizations. MÃ¥rten is currently the Director of International Affairs at the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI).
Sundmark began their career as an intern at the Congressional Research Service in 1994. MÃ¥rten then worked as a desk officer at the Swedish Ministry of Education from 1998 to 2002. In 2008, they joined the Swedish Ministry of Defence as a senior advisor and deputy head of department. MÃ¥rten held this position until 2017, when they took up their current role at FOI.
