Kasun Basnayake has served as the IT Service Manager for the APAC region at FLSmidth since January 2013, where responsibilities include providing customer service, developing relationships, and managing IT infrastructure and team members across multiple countries. Prior roles at FLSmidth include Modern Workplace Specialist, overseeing L3 Core and Endpoint IT services in a complex global environment, and Onsite IT Support Analyst, providing support for various offices in the APAC region. Kasun's previous experience includes working as an Information Coordinator at arenko Pty Ltd, leading infrastructure development projects, and as IT Support at the Western Australia Hockey Association, focusing on first-level IT support. Kasun holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Systems and Networking from Curtin University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Network Security from Edith Cowan University.
