Michael Deruytter currently serves as Sr. Director of Product Management at Teledyne FLIR since May 2021, after a long tenure at FLIR Systems where roles included Sr. Director of Product Management, Director of Innovation for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Product Manager for ITS. Prior experience includes serving as a Product Manager at Traficon from August 2004 to December 2012, where responsibilities encompassed product management for Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and pedestrian detection products, along with business analysis of video detection applications. Michael’s career also includes R&D engineering focused on new product development and project management related to traffic applications. Educational background consists of an Industrial Engineer degree in Electronics with an ICT option from HOGENT, complemented by studies at Klein Seminarie Roeselare and St. JozefsCollege Izegem.
