Ken Cocks has over 35 years of experience in the mining industry, with a focus on electrical maintenance and operations. Currently serving as a Field Engineer at Flanders since July 2011, Ken has gained over two years of safe working experience in Open Cut / Surface Mining, specializing in the repair and troubleshooting of electric shovels and draglines. Prior to this role, Ken worked at BMA Coal Blackwater Mine from April 1987 to July 2011, serving as an Electrical Specialist Tradesman and providing advanced electrical support for maintenance and reliability on multiple draglines and an electric shovel. Ken is also experienced in relief electrical planning and scheduling using the SAP maintenance system. Ken completed education at Yeppoon High School from 1978 to 1982.
