Krista Piferrer is a public affairs and government relations executive with 20 years of experience in legislative strategy, policy, and crisis communications. Krista currently serves as the Executive Vice President for Public Affairs and Government Relations at FirstDay Foundation, where they provide strategic leadership and forge partnerships with governmental leaders. Previously, Krista held key roles, such as Deputy Press Secretary for the Texas Office of the Governor and Press Secretary for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. Additionally, they have contributed as Board Chair at Doral Academy of Texas and as a Commissioner for the Ethics Commission of the City of Kyle. Krista holds multiple degrees, including a BA in Political Science and French from Florida State University and an MHA in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University-San Marcos.
