Michael Nairn is an experienced finance professional with a strong emphasis on investment operations and services. Currently serving as Head of Investment Services at Aware Super since August 2020, Michael leads a high-performing team across various functions including Investment Control and Investment Analytics. Prior roles include Head of Investment Operations at State Street Corporate Services and Managing Director in the Global Delivery organization, as well as Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific at State Street Global Markets. Michael's extensive background also features leadership positions in investment operations at State Street Services India, State Street Global Advisors, and earlier roles in operations and settlements at Colonial First State and Prudential Fund Managers. Michael holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from the University of Canberra.
