Justin A. Campbell is a human rights organizer and public policy professional with over a decade of experience in advancing progressive change. Currently serving as the Director of Advocacy at First Light in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Justin leads initiatives at the intersection of reconciliation, public education, and policy change. Justin's past roles include Business Analyst at Allstream and Diversity Outreach Coordinator at the Association for New Canadians, among others, where they demonstrated a commitment to community engagement and systemic reform. Justin’s work has significantly influenced local and national policies related to Indigenous rights, including the establishment of the First Voice Urban Indigenous Coalition and contributions to the Law Enforcement Oversight Commission Act (2025). Their educational background includes a Bachelor of Humanities focused on Humanities and Human Rights from Carleton University.
