Lawrence Schmitt, CPA, SHRM-CP, is a seasoned professional with over two decades of executive experience in accounting management and human resources. They began their career at Carlson Advisors, LLP, focusing on audit and tax consulting from 1991 to 1994, and progressed to roles in senior auditing at Deloitte until 1997. They served with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office from 2020 to 2022, holding several leadership positions, including Director of Personnel and Chief of Human Resources. Currently, they are the Director of Accounting/Controller and Vice President of Finance and IT at First Coast Security. Schmitt also serves as a Board Member at Alive Credit Union and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Cloud State University.
