Piia Valonen is a Lead Process Development Scientist at FinVector Oy, where they have worked since 2021. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Process Development Scientist and Senior Scientist at FinVector Vision Therapies, contributing to bioreactors and upstream manufacturing. Piia's experience also includes postdoctoral positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Kuopio, as well as research at the University of Eastern Finland. They are currently pursuing both a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master's degree in Biotechnology at the University of Kuopio.
