Kjersti Simonsens Skotnes is currently the Deputy Director at Finanstilsynet Danmark, overseeing the market risk team and specializing in counterparty credit risk and operational risk. Prior experience includes roles such as Special Advisor and Deputy Financial Inspector at Finanstilsynet, and Head of Section at Bygningsstyrelsen, where Kjersti focused on energy management and data analysis. Kjersti has also held positions in various organizations including ISFiT as a Finance Officer and Aalund Business Research as a Research Assistant. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Trondheim Business School and a Master of Science in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.
