David Carter is a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Fidelity Investments, a position held since 2022. Previously, David served as Senior Legal Counsel and Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Fidelity between 2007 and 2009. David began their legal career as an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP from 2000 to 2005 and worked as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board from 1995 to 1997. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Law from Harvard Law School. Additionally, David has been a Board Member at the Needham Community Council since 2021.
