Paul Melander is the Senior Vice President of Safety and Transportation at FedEx, where they oversee all safety, transportation, and customer support activities for FedEx Ground. In this role since 2020, Paul leads efforts in fleet maintenance, sustainability, customer pick-up coordination, and linehaul operations, while ensuring a strong network for major clients. They began their career at FedEx over 30 years ago as a package handler and have held various leadership positions throughout their tenure, including Managing Director and Vice President. Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University at Albany, SUNY, which they earned in 1991.
