Richard Huffine is a seasoned professional with expertise in strategic direction and management of information services in the government sector. Currently serving as the Chief of Library, Archives, Records & Information Services at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Richard works to integrate digital services while maintaining the relevance of traditional library functions. Previously, Richard held leadership roles at ProQuest, the U.S. Geological Survey, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, focusing on market growth and the advancement of information management practices. Richard is also an adjunct instructor at The Catholic University of America, contributing to the education of future library and information science professionals. Richard is pursuing a Master of Library and Information Science at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Appalachian State University.
