Rob (Rico) Carty is an aviation consultant with a rich background in the field, currently serving at Rico C Aviation LLC since 2023. They have extensive experience with the Federal Aviation Administration, having held positions such as Chief of Staff Flight Standards and Senior Technical Advisor. Carty briefly served as Acting Deputy Executive Director in 2018. Prior to their work with the FAA, they were an Airbus 320 Captain at USAIR from 1987 to 2004. Carty holds a degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College, earned in 1977.
