Zachary Propert is the Deputy Editor at Fair Observer, where they serve as an editor and contributing writer. They have worked as an Office and Research Assistant at the African Studies Center at UPenn since 2010, editing an academic bulletin and managing the website. Additionally, Zachary has tutored French and Russian at the Penn Tutoring Center since 2009. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature, French Studies, and Slavic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained in 2012.
