Tammy Velasquez is a Senior Government Relations professional with over 30 years of experience in leading strategies at the state level for successful outcomes. As the Director of State Legislative and Regulatory Affairs at EY, Tammy engages with state and local legislative, regulatory, and public policy leaders to address issues impacting the firm and the public accounting profession. Tammy began their career at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and has held prominent policy roles at organizations including the Louisiana Department of Justice, the American Insurance Association, and Grant Thornton. Tammy earned a B.S. in Business Economics from McNeese State University and a J.D. from Louisiana State University.
