Max Velthoven is a Partner in International Tax and Transaction Services at EY in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Max obtained a PhD in EU Tax Law (ATAD GAAR) from the University of Amsterdam in July 2024. With expertise in corporate income tax, dividend withholding tax, tax treaties, and European tax law, Max assists multinationals in navigating the international tax landscape. Previous roles include Senior Manager and Manager within EY, as well as positions in legal support and education. Max has also contributed to academic circles as a visiting lecturer and through various projects in law and education.
