Maja Kühnell Frederiksen is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in banking, life and pension regulation, and compliance. Currently serving as FVP and Head of Regulatory Affairs at Danske Bank, Maja collaborates with the Executive Board to develop solutions balancing business strategy and regulatory requirements. Maja began their career by establishing processes for outsourcing in the public sector and has since advised senior management on various regulatory matters, spearheading crucial dialogues with external authorities. With a strong educational background including multiple master's degrees in economics and finance, Maja has previously held significant roles at organizations such as EY, Deloitte, and Ørsted.
