Joana Bessa is a Senior Manager in International Tax and Transaction Services at EY, a role they began in 2025. Previously, Joana served as a Tax Manager and an Experienced Senior Tax Consultant in the same department at EY from 2020 to 2022. They have also held positions as a Senior Tax Consultant and an International Tax Consultant at Deloitte Portugal from 2016 to 2018, as well as a role as an intern at CAAD - Centro de Arbitragem Administrativa in 2015. Joana holds a Master's degree in Fiscal Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Currently, they are pursuing further education at Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave.
