Iona MacPherson is the Chief of Staff to Scotland's Managing Partner and Director of External Affairs at EY, where they have been serving since 2025. With 16 years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, and media relations, Iona has worked on high-level projects related to the economy, financial services, and energy. Prior to their current role, Iona held various positions at EY and contributed to the launch of V&A Dundee. They also have extensive experience with the Scottish Government, managing communications for notable figures and initiatives. Iona earned a BA (Hons) in Communications from Edinburgh Napier University and participated in the Oxford Digital Marketing: Disruptive Strategy Programme at the University of Oxford.
