Jack McMonagle is a Detection and Response Analyst at Expel, where responsibilities include collaborating with analysts to investigate security alerts and incidents related to account compromise, malware, and cloud environments. Previously, Jack served as a SOC Phishing Analyst, utilizing EDR and SIEM device logs for identifying threats and conducting OSINT to evaluate phishing attempts. Prior experience includes working as an IT Advisor at PUPS PUB, where Jack set up new devices and provided security recommendations, and as a Shift Lead at Armature Works, where Jack demonstrated leadership and training skills during a critical period. Jack holds a Bachelor's degree in CyberSecurity with a minor in Data Analytics from the University of Tampa.
