Venkata Prasad Palakiti holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where they were also a teaching assistant. They worked as a Project Associate at Vizag Steel Plant in 2008 and have extensive experience in distribution services, serving as Regional Manager at Expeditors from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Venkata Prasad has held various roles at Expeditors, including Regional Supervisor and Regional Coordinator, focusing on optimizing distribution networks and managing projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Indian subcontinent. They have also contributed to academia as a Guest Professor at the School of Management and Entrepreneurship, IIT Jodhpur.
