Tim O’Connor is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Xcel Energy, where they are responsible for all generation assets and key operational functions to deliver energy to customers. Appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Generation Officer in 2020, O’Connor has nearly 40 years of experience in commercial nuclear operations, previously serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer. They hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and have completed several executive business programs at the Chicago Kellogg School of Business. O’Connor actively contributes to various industry advisory groups and serves on the Board of Directors for a charitable organization supporting single mothers.
