Abdahir Abu has extensive experience in the steel industry, particularly in blast furnace operations and management. From March 2017 to June 2022, Abdahir held a position at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. focused on 4554 m³ blast furnace operations. Prior to that, from September 2008 to August 2012, Abdahir served as Assistant Manager at Essar Steel, where contributions included commissioning a 2200 m³ blast furnace and working on the COREX project. At Bhushan Steel & Strips Ltd. from August 2012 to March 2017, Abdahir worked as Assistant Shift Incharge for a 3800 m³ blast furnace, overseeing cast house runner refractory works. Currently, Abdahir is a Senior Manager at Evonith Steel, having been promoted from Deputy Manager and Manager roles from June 2022 to May 2023. Abdahir holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Latha Mathavan Polytechnic College and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
