Maeve Spain is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of International Treasury at Everest Insurance® since December 2022. Prior to this role, Maeve held various senior positions at AXA XL, including Global Head of FX and Cash, Head of Cash & FX, and Treasury Head of Cash & FX from September 2019 to December 2022. Maeve’s experience also includes a role in the treasury department at Sainsbury's from November 2017 to September 2019, and significant tenure at the Bank of Ireland from January 2007 to October 2017, where roles included Funding & Liquidity Manager and Debt Investor Relations Manager. Early career experience includes positions at Anglo Irish Bank Corporation Ltd from January 2003 to January 2007, focusing on funding and investment management. Maeve holds a degree in International Business French & Spanish from Technological University Dublin and studied Business & French at Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III).
