Philip King is a Senior Accountant with significant experience in the Government and Public Sector environment. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Accountant at Essex County Council, they focus on CIPFA Accounting Code compliance and the delivery of training to the finance team. Previously, Philip worked within EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services, and as a Senior Technical Manager at the Audit Commission, contributing notably to national technical training and complex audit projects. Philip holds a degree in Accounting Studies from Newmarket College and Thames Valley University.
