Mark Jepson is currently the Deputy Headteacher at Essex County Council, where they also serve as SENDCo, DSL, and assessment lead, among other roles. They previously held the position of Assistant Headteacher at Benyon Primary School and have extensive experience as a teacher, including a focus on mathematics and writing leadership at West Thurrock Academy. Mark began their educational career as a trainee teacher at the University of East London, earning the Primary Teaching Award in 2012. Prior to their education roles, they worked as a kitchen designer at IKEA Group from 2007 to 2010. Mark holds a BA in Media and Communications from the University of Greenwich and a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of East London.
