Vivek Subramaniam is a Computational Scientist at Esgee Technologies Inc. since October 2018, with prior experience as a Graduate Research Assistant in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2013 to August 2018. Vivek developed a Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) software toolkit for modeling thermal plasmas, designed an interface tracking algorithm for plasma expansion in vacuum environments, and contributed to research focused on fast numerical algorithms for non-equilibrium plasmas. A doctoral recipient of Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, Vivek also holds a Master of Science in the same field from the same institution and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
