Daniel Pérez Arriagada is currently serving as the Data Protection & Legal Officer and Compliance Officer for Legal & Data Protection at ERGO Group AG since May 2023. Previously, Daniel held the position of Legal Prosecutor / Fiscal Instructor at the Contraloría General de la República de Chile from December 2019 to September 2021, where responsibilities included leading investigations into irregular activities among civil servants and producing final fiscal reports with regulatory findings. Prior to that, Daniel was a Legal Counsel for the División de Mantenimiento del Ejército de Chile from March 2017 to December 2019, providing legal guidance on national and international defense contracts and participating in the implementation of new technologies within the army. Daniel holds an LLM in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law from the University of Sussex and a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Early education included training at Escuela Militar and Instituto Chacabuco - Maristas Los Andes.
