Tony Yang

Director Of Product Management, Fortnite

Tony Yang is a seasoned product management professional with a strong background in the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Director of Product Management for Fortnite at Epic Games since March 2023, Tony oversees key initiatives such as the Fortnite Battle Pass, Fortnite Crew subscription service, and LEGO Fortnite, while also researching new monetization opportunities. Prior to this role, Tony was the VP of Product at Mediatonic Games, where responsibilities included leading product management, data science, and player experience teams while facilitating the Epic Games acquisition in 2021. Tony's career further includes leadership roles at Space Ape Games, where the establishment of a new game R&D process led to the acquisition by Supercell, and at Mind Candy, where Tony directed the development of the award-winning Moshi Monsters. Earlier experiences include product management roles at Zynga, contributing to the success of high-grossing games like Bubble Safari and Empires & Allies. Tony holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and a B.S. in Computer Science from UC Irvine.
