Françoise Meunier is the founder of the European Initiative on Ending Discrimination Against Cancer Survivors and has significantly contributed to cancer research and treatment. They earned a medical degree, a Master's in Medical Oncology, and a PhD from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, as well as completing a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Serving as the EORTC Director General from 1991 to 2015, Françoise oversaw the organization's growth into a world-class cancer clinical research infrastructure and currently works as the Director of Special Projects at EORTC. Active in various scientific committees, including the European Cancer Organisation, they continue to drive initiatives related to cancer survivorship and quality of life.
